ULR Samurai International RFC is now one of the most prestigious, recognised, and feared teams on the International circuit. Famed for their striking kit, professional attitude and on-field flair, they have grown into arguably the world’s most successful invitational sevens team.

Samurai don’t just have a presence in the Men’s competition, in the Women’s competition there were many previous Samurai players notably in the Australian and Team GB sides. Australia womens

were coached by former Samurai player Tim Walsh while Team GB assistant coach Richie Pugh was also a former samurai player. Highlights have been olympic Team GB player Joe Watmore making her rugby 7s debut for samurai in Amsterdam 7s.

The Samurai womens team are growing year and year and becoming a dominant force, they will be looking to take home some silverware for the inaugural women’s event to add to their collection.
